Getting started

Welcome aboard! 🚀

Getting up and running with AutoFlow takes three steps:

  1. Install the app – pick the path that matches your environment (Business Central Online or on-premises).
  2. Activate the product – register your tenant and switch AutoFlow on for the company you want to use it in.
  3. Redeem a voucher code (optional) – if you received a voucher, for example from a trade show or campaign, unlock the associated packages here.

Once you have completed these steps, you are ready to build your first flow – a five-minute walkthrough that ends with a working, manually-triggered example.

Where to find AutoFlow in Business Central​

After installation, AutoFlow adds an AutoFlow action group to the navigation of the standard role centers – Business Manager, Order Processor, Sales & Relationship Manager, Accountant, and Project Manager. From there you can jump straight to:

  • Flows – the list of all AutoFlow flows in the company.
  • Executions – the execution log.
  • Setup – company-wide AutoFlow settings.
  • License / Activation – subscription management and voucher redemption.

You can always reach the same pages through the Tell Me bar, but the menu group is the fastest way once AutoFlow is part of your daily work.

For users whose primary job is to design and operate flows, AutoFlow also ships a dedicated AutoFlow Admin role center with cues, an execution chart, and admin shortcuts. See AutoFlow Admin role center for when – and how – to switch to it.

Free Tier, trial, and paid packages​

  • Every registered tenant can use AutoFlow's Free Tier – a small number of production flows plus generous limits in sandbox environments, without any time restriction.
  • When you activate AutoFlow in a sandbox for the first time, a 6-month trial of all premium features starts automatically.
  • For more production flows or premium features, choose one of the paid packages during activation or add them later from the subscription management.
