Redeem an action code

An action code is a short alphanumeric voucher that unlocks a specific AutoFlow package for your tenant. Action codes are issued by mse Software GmbH on special occasions — for example as a giveaway at a trade show, through a partner campaign, or with a newsletter.

The code may unlock a free package (such as a handful of flows) or grant access to a hidden paid package. In the paid case, redeeming the code enters the normal checkout process.

Before you start

• AutoFlow must already be activated in the company where you want to redeem the code. If it is not, follow Activate the product first.
• You need the action code itself. The source of the code (flyer, email, partner communication) usually also mentions what it unlocks, how long it is valid, and how often it can be redeemed.

Redeem the code

1. In Business Central, search for AutoFlow Subscriptions in the Tell Me bar and open the subscription management.
2. Choose the action Redeem action code.
3. Enter the code exactly as you received it (letters and digits, no spaces). Confirm with OK.
4. AutoFlow validates the code against the licensing service.
   • Free package: the package is added to your subscription immediately. No checkout is shown. The unlocked flows or features are available straight away.
   • Paid package: the regular checkout dialog appears. Choose a billing cycle, confirm the company data and pricing, and submit the order.
5. Back in the subscription management, the newly activated package appears in the list of your current subscriptions.

Troubleshooting

Message	What it means	What to do
Action code not recognised	The code is misspelled or was never issued by mse.	Double-check for typos, especially 0/O and 1/l. Contact the issuer if it still does not work.
Action code already redeemed	The code has a per-tenant or one-time limit that has already been used.	Contact the issuer if you believe this is a mistake.
Action code expired	The validity period printed on the source material has ended.	Ask the issuer whether a new code is available.
Action code cannot be combined with your current packages	The code is for a package of a product line in which you already hold a higher tier.	No action possible — the higher tier already includes what the code would unlock.

Validity, limits, and the exact content of an action code are defined individually for each campaign. Anything specific to your code — for example how many flows it grants, or until when it must be redeemed — is described wherever you received the code, not in this documentation.
