Redeem a voucher code

A voucher code is a short alphanumeric token that unlocks a specific AutoFlow package for your tenant. Voucher codes are issued by mse Software GmbH on special occasions – for example as a giveaway at a trade show, through a partner campaign, or with a newsletter.

The code may unlock a free package (such as a handful of flows) or grant access to a hidden paid package.

Before you start

  • AutoFlow must already be activated in the company where you want to redeem the code, and the activation must be a production activation. Trial activations cover all premium features for the duration of the trial, so a voucher code adds nothing on top.
  • You need the voucher code itself. The source of the code (flyer, email, partner communication) usually also mentions what it unlocks, how long it is valid, and how often it can be redeemed.

Redeem the code

  1. In Business Central, search for AutoFlow Subscriptions in the Tell Me bar and open the subscription management.
  2. Choose the action Redeem voucher code. The action is disabled while AutoFlow is test-activated – switch the company to a production activation first.
  3. Enter the code exactly as you received it (letters and digits, no spaces). Confirm with OK.
  4. AutoFlow validates the code and shows the package it unlocks. The checkout opens so you can confirm the order.
  5. Choose a billing cycle and confirm. Free packages also go through the checkout, but with a price of zero – a single click is enough.
  6. Back in the subscription management, the newly activated package appears in the list of your current subscriptions.

What if the package is already active?

If the code unlocks a package you already have an active paid subscription for, AutoFlow stops with an information message – "You already have an active subscription for <package>, so this voucher does not unlock anything new." – and does not open the checkout.

Troubleshooting

MessageWhat it meansWhat to do
Voucher code not recognisedThe code is misspelled or was never issued by mse.Double-check for typos, especially 0/O and 1/l. Contact the issuer if it still does not work.
Voucher code already redeemedThe code has a per-tenant or one-time limit that has already been used.Contact the issuer if you believe this is a mistake.
Voucher code expiredThe validity period printed on the source material has ended.Ask the issuer whether a new code is available.
You already have an active subscription for <package>…The unlocked package is one you already subscribe to (paid). No action needed – your existing subscription already covers what the code would have added.

Validity, limits, and the exact content of a voucher code are defined individually for each campaign. Anything specific to your code – for example how many flows it grants, or until when it must be redeemed – is described wherever you received the code, not in this documentation.
